The Museum of Anthropology is a great spot for a wedding. Every summer the grounds of the museum play host to a variety wedding styles.
Two people who love to ‘talk’ food! Lindsey and Devin love food and love to cook, so they wanted to honor their guests with a dynamic and extraordinary dining experience. Not being fans of tray passed hors d’oeuvres, they opted instead for 2 diverse and unique grazing stations – the first offered a display of local and artisanal charcuterie, BC cheeses and Italian antipasti, and the second offered freshly grilled chicken yakitori, lamb and falafel skewers with various dips.
A family-style dinner followed with a Duo of Salads, Grilled Sirloin Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, Herbed Steelhead Trout, French Summer Potato Salad, Sautéed Broccolini & Green Beans and Balsamic & Honey Roasted Heirloom Carrots. And then for dessert…’Savary Island’ pie and ‘Ernest Ice Cream’. The look on the guest’s faces when they saw pie and ice cream was priceless!
