Such a great couple, and with a very clear vision of what they wanted from the get go! Their vision was for a laid back, cool and contemporary look, and with a BC farm-to-table family-style dinner. They wanted their wedding to be more of a party, so they dubbed it their ‘unwedding’. No walking down the aisle for this couple, but a fabulous party starting on the dock of the UBC Boathouse. To get everyone in the mood, a selection of cocktails including G & T’s, Spritzers & Caesars were served, along with freshly shucked oysters.

A leisurely, 3 course family-style dinner followed, including roasted steelhead trout, orzo salad and summer beans & zucchini tossed with pine nut ‘pangritata’.  And then for dessert, warm peach fruit crumble accompanied by jars of Ernest Ice Cream! ‘The Broken Strings’ then got everyone up dancing…and the party continued, well into the night…
