Intimate Catered Events

We exist to assist in celebrating “life’s passing parade” of significant events with exceptional food and service. Whether it’s a 40th Birthday Party, 50th Anniversary Celebration or Baby Shower we’ve got the appropriate menus to match. As off-premise caterers we go anywhere you are – backyards, public parks, airport hangers, and we have all the necessary equipment to serve in style, with three modes of delivery: from a simple drop-off, or drop-off with set-up to delivery with service staff if desired. Family-Style Dinner

PLANKED SALMON
Fresh wild salmon roasted on cedar planks with parsley, dill and chives… and garnished with roasted lemons

MARINATED GRILLED FLANK STEAK
Extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, shallot and oregano marinated flank steak, served with lime wedges, herbs and a trio of mason jar condiments of spicy chipotle chili sauce, horseradish, pickled red onions

ROASTED POTATOES
Tender nugget and fingerling potatoes roasted in olive oil, rosemary, sea salt & pepper

CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS
Hot and crispy Brussels sprouts tossed with capers, chilies and parmesan cheese

GREEN BEANS & PEAS
Garden fresh…. steamed and served warm

HANNA BROOK FARM SUMMER GREENS
Hannah Brook Farms greens and heirloom kale, with cucumbers, shaved fennel, roasted pumpkin seeds and herb tips, with white balsamic dressing

Backyard BBQ

GRILLED RIB-EYE STEAK

AAA whole rib-eye…dry rubbed, then grilled to medium rare thinly sliced and served warm with a roasted shallot & red wine reduction, horseradish and assorted mustards… carved on site

BBQ CEDAR PLANK SOCKEYE SALMON

Individual filets of  hook & line caught BC salmon… roasted on marinated cedar planks and served hot on garnished platters…accompanied by fresh mango chutney; and a ‘fresh cut’ olive oil, lemon and Italian flat leaf parsley sauce

STUFFED PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS

With mushroom duxelles, goat’s cheese and Agassiz hazelnuts

ROASTED YAMS & POTATOES

Sweet yams and Pemberton ‘German Butter’ potatoes roasted with extra-virgin olive oil, sea salt and fresh rosemary… served hot from a chafing dish

GRILLED VEGETABLE PLATTERS

A grilled display that may include asparagus, red and yellow peppers, zucchini, Japanese eggplant, snap peas, fennel, yams, baby carrots and mushrooms… with an extra virgin olive oil & balsamic splash

“GATHERED” FIELD GREENS SALAD

An incredible mixture of organic greens, herb tips, edible flowers and toasted walnuts with Prosecco vinaigrette

HEIRLOOM TOMATO SALAD

A fabulous display of ripe & juicy heirloom tomatoes… sliced and drizzled with extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and finished with fresh torn basil

RUSTIC BREADS & BUTTER

House made foccacia, ciabbata & baguette, artisan breads and crisp breads… served with Farm House Cheese fresh butter, and herb butter (to include some gluten free breads)

Comfort Food Party

BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN & SPUD BAR
Southern style buttermilk fried chicken with ultra creamy mashed potatoes with sour cream, butter & chives. Served with home-style gravey and onion rings

THAI NOODLE BAR
Rice noodles tossed with cucumber, scallions, bean sprouts, mint and Thai basil. With grilled ginger & lemongrass chicken, BBQ pork, crisp wonton ribbons, peanut sauce, hot chili sauce, shredded lettuce and chopped toasted cashews. Assorted spring rolls with Asian plum sauce for dipping

MAC & CHEESE BAR
With Farmhouse aged cheddar, smoked Gouda and Gruyere, served with
cispy pancetta and bacon, chives, buttered herb crouton shards, diced tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, poblano chili strips and artichoke hearts

MEATBALL STATION

Spicy Italian: with oven-roasted tomato sauce with shaved parmesan and creamy basil pesto sauce with focaccica points

Greek Lamb: with garlic-feta yogurt dip… accompanied by olive oil and oregano grilled pita wedges

Vietnamese Pork: with nuoc cham and marinated carrot and daikon accompanied by shrimp chips

Falafel: with hummus… accompanied by spiced pita chips

West Coast Seafood Buffet

SMOKED SALMON LOLLIPOPS

West Coast smoked salmon and lemon & dill scented cream cheese formed into savoury lollipops…garnished with snipped chives
 
COLD POACHED JUMBO PRAWNS
Lemon, white wine and fennel poached prawns, served cold with oven-roasted tomato cocktail sauce

OYSTERS ON ICE
A fabulous selection of fresh oysters on the half shell, presented on ice…accompanied by fresh horseradish, cocktail sauce, lemon wedges, Tabasco sauce, chili infused vodka and classic mignonette sauce

COLD SMOKED ALBACORE TUNA
Cold smoked Albacore tuna on butter lettuce, thinly sliced and drizzled with a creamy herb and crispy bacon (sour cream, cream, chive & crispy bacon) sauce…scattered with baby greens and garnished with more crispy double-smoked bacon and pancetta…

BREAD & BUTTER
Half baguettes and demi baguettes with garlic, lemon, parsley and chive compound butter
