Just look over at our Head Honcho, Donna Wadsworth, during the vows if you don’t believe us! You’ll see her eyes getting misty every time!

 

Magic and Romance

One of the reasons why we love what we do is because we’re endlessly inspired by love in all its forms. Even to this day, we still get caught up in the magic, the romance, the theatrical element — the spectacle! To be able to contribute to this magic, to help, in our own unique way, to the most important day in your life is beyond amazing–it’s is one of the highest honours! To be honest, the day we stop crying at weddings will be the day we pack it in!

The truth is that weddings inspire and delight! We love catering them as it’s a chance for us to build a relationship with the Bride and Groom and their families. Even years after a wedding, we still get letters, emails and invites for coffee from past clients. It’s part of the joy of helping create indelible wedding memories! They become more than just customers and more of our extended Savoury City family!

When it comes to weddings, we’ve literally done it all! From a surprise Indian buffet for 400 guests to an informal bagged lunch wedding at Locarno Beach. Each wedding is as different and unique as the brides and grooms that come through our door. They continually inspire us to reach higher, go further, raise the bar and push boundaries!

We also want the whole family to feel included in the process, so we are familiar and up to date with the latest restaurant trends, but also have a deep appreciation for the traditional. We strive to ensure that the bride and groom and their parents all feel heard.

How We Work

We’d love to meet with you to discuss your vision! Here’s how we generally work:

 

Outline: We’ll give you a quick sense of what we charge from the general details you provide.

Meeting: We like to meet with you to establish details and priorities.

Quote: A detailed quote is presented.

Site Inspection: We’ll schedule a site inspection if feasible and deemed important.

Tasting: A tasting of your menu for 2 people. Additional guests are charged a minimum of 50.00 per guest, depending on the complexity of the menu.

Ongoing: We’re always available to answer questions and offer advice from the moment you book us until the big day.
